Brekel Kinect v0.47 update

Highlights:
– Ability to toggle “User Text” and “User Status Text” separately now
– Ability to toggle the “Low FPS Warnings” on/off
– Some fixes in the BVH calibration code
– Ability to set a Max FPS rate when doing continuous captures (for fast systems)
– Pointcloud registration/alignment in the Offline Scan Processor, this is experimental still and seems to work best when the camera didn’t move too much between frames

hello friend, I have a doubt I installed everything as you say but I salted a picture of dialogue that he says ” there is not the pto of entry of the procedure xnSaveSkeletonCalibrationDatatoFile, in the library of dynamic ties of OpenNI.dll ”, I do not understand this, please tell to me that qu have harmed.

‘Pointcloud registration/alignment in the Offline Scan Processor, this is experimental still and seems to work best when the camera didn’t move too much between frames’

I’ll have to try this out soon. Is it limited to a stationary pivot-point like RGBdemo 5.0 or could you do small movements and encompass a stationary object?

I haven’t tried yet, so be my guest 🙂
I’m still experimenting with different algorithms, this one (ICP) seems to break when the changes between the clouds are too big so be gentle with your camera or simply capture lots of scans.
Ooooh and play around with the settings offcourse, there may be a more optimal set of parameters.

        K. So I gave the alignment feature a whirl and I can’t seem to make it work. I’m exporting to mesh and viewing in 3DS Max 2012 and all the frames are just as if I had not aligned them. I’d say I have a good 90% overlap between frames of surface area. My goal was a 360 so I tried “Sequence” first but also tried “Master” to see if the first couple worked and didn’t get any results. Am I missing some step?

          Hmmm, that indeed is weird.
The registration process spits out quite a bit of info in the console window, do you see stuff there?

It’s still very experimental as I haven’t tested much, no idea how the parameters work in different situations.

Keep in mind that there is no ‘loop closing’ algorithm going on, so a 360 most probably won’t connect all the way around.
