Brekel PointCloud
Brekel PointCloud is a family of Windows applications for volumetric video: recording animated 3D pointclouds of people and objects with depth sensors, and exporting them to mesh, particle and texture formats that load into most 3D packages and game engines.
The current version is Brekel PointCloud v3. It supports a wide range of sensors (Azure Kinect, Orbbec, ZED, RealSense) alongside both Kinect generations, can align and fuse multiple sensors into one pointcloud, and is in active development. If you are starting fresh, this is the one to get.
The older versions remain available as cheaper options for specific hardware: PointCloud v2 for the Kinect for Xbox One / Kinect for Windows v2 sensor (plus Orbbec Astra and Intel RealSense), and PointCloud v1 for the original Kinect for Xbox 360 / Kinect for Windows v1. They record from one sensor at a time and no longer get new features (occasional compatibility updates still happen).
